Even if the Warriors were technically born in the city, their spirit and hustle were developed in the Town. Many of us fondly remember going to the Oracle Arena as kids to watch the mascot Thunder hype the crowd and to cheer on our team whether we won or lost. After 48 years and 4 championship titles in East Oakland, amidst massive gentrification and dramatic cultural shifts, the team returns to San Francisco. This design serves as an archived memory of their last season in Oakland, and how even in a new location, the Dubs will forever remain the East Oakland Warriors.
